Ever notice how visionaries often times don’t want accountability? They want to be able to dream and press their agenda with followers who only ask “anything else you need?” I have known someone like this … me. I love to create the agenda of everyone around me based on my values and my priorities. I love it when people want to go at my speed — fast. A few years back I realized I was hurting people, not helping my vision. So I started to make space for others’ values and priorities. It means I go slower but it also means I have more followers. Leave space for others’ values by getting to know their values and giving them opportunities to live them out.
